Canadian Naval Memorial Trust - Donations
The Canadian Naval Memorial Trust has been able to achieve its mission for over three decades because of the generosity of its membership, corporate supporters and the Canadian public at large. The Trust appreciates all contributions and issues charitable tax receipts for all donations of $10 or more. For donations up to $499, we do not publicize information about the donor. For donations of $500 or more, the Donor Recognition Program provides a broader form of public acknowledgement of major supporters, subject to the agreement of the donor.

We acknowledge Donor Recognition Program (DRP) contributors in a variety of ways, unless they specifically wish to remain anonymous, including:
A donor will be given a plaque-mounted photograph of HMCS Sackville with a tally plate indicating the donor’s name, the donation category and the year of donation. The donor’s name will be added to a tally plate on the Donor Honour Board located in a prominent place on board HMCS Sackville. The Honour Board will list each donor, his or her category and year of donation. It will be updated on an annual basis. Routine donor updates will be published in Action Stations! magazine. An electronic Donor Honour Board will be maintained on the CNMT website. Media releases, as deemed appropriate. Donors who generously make subsequent annual donations will be recognized in each year of contribution. Please note that there is no commitment to make successive donations
