A Remembrance of James Bond Jan 26
The Canadian Naval Memorial Trust will hold a remembrance ceremony to mark the passing of Lieutenant Commander James Bond during the regular Friday noon gathering of trustees and supporters of HMCS Sackville Friday Jan 26, 2018 at the Austenville Owls Club (overlooking Lake Banook), 34 Oakdale Crescent, Dartmouth.
Jim Bond passed away in Halifax Jan 19 at age 91. He was a veteran of the Second World War, a former commanding officer of Sackville and played a key role in the restoration and operation of the iconic WW ll corvette, Canada’s Naval Memorial.
